Sunny and warm has become the norm in the Katahdin region this summer which makes great weather for our wildlife tours. Ken was the guide for both our morning and evening tour today and was able to get both groups out on the NEOC pontoon boat. In the morning, with his small group of 2 in tow he set off for Big Mud Brook and they saw 3 cormorants, 8 loons, an eagle, Canada geese, a black duck and of course, Fred the bull! On the evening tour, Ken with his large group of 13 ventured across Millinocket Lake and were able to see loons, an eagle, 4 painted turtles and 2 beaver.
