This morning started off a bit on the chilly side but warmed up nicely as the day progressed. Ken was busy again with both our AM and PM wildlife tours. As the group of 6 set sail for Big Mud Brook, the very first sighting of the day was a cow moose followed by a wide variety of wildlife. They saw belted kingfishers, loons, a family of wood ducks, a great blue heron, an osprey, Canada geese, chimney swifts, a peregrine falcon, a deer and a Maine snaketail. In the evening Ken loaded his group of 13 on the NEOC pontoon boat and once again saw a cow moose along with ducks, belted kingfishers, Canada geese, a great blue heron, a blue wing teal and a beaver. It was another great day in the shadow of Mount Katahdin!
