Maine Whitewater Rafting
Whitewater Rafting on the Penobscot River in Maine is one of the most spectacular whitewater river experiences in the eastern United States and has become our most popular river to run trips on. The Penobscot River boasts exhilarating rapids and breathtaking scenery. We offer exhilarating, adrenaline pumping Maine Whitewater Rafting Trips and we offer relaxing and enjoyable soft adventure trips and family floats trips suitable for most ages and activity levels. We offer Maine Whitewater Rafting Trips on the Penobscot River, the Kennebec River and the Dead River with whitewater rafting trips leaving daily starting late April through late October.
Our river trips cater to all activity and excitement levels. We have class I-IV rapids on the Penobscot River, half-day trips, Double Trouble Trips, Floats and Soft adventure trips. A day trip with us usually includes a hot river BBQ lunch prepared by our raft guides on the scenic river banks. The rivers provide a variety of possibilities for fun for individual, family rafting or for group rafting. Whether your skill level if it is your first time whitewater rafting or if you are a pro, we have whitewater rafting trips to meet and exceed your expectations.

These charming Maine Cottages are available in a range of sizes and styles, from Maine Log Cabins with bunk beds to Larger Luxury Cabins perfect for a family vacation in Maine during any season. The New England Outdoor Center is located just miles from the south entrance of Baxter State Park and Katahdin the northern terminus for the Appalachian Trail. Baxter State Park offers hundreds of miles of hiking trails and the Debsconeag Lakes Wilderness Region is just minutes from our doorstep. Fishing is very popular in Maine and we’re proud to offer our guests the opportunity to fish on a variety of local lakes and rivers in the Katahdin region. Join us on a guided fishing excursion and all equipment is provided. Our summer guests enjoy the use of our kayaks and canoes as part of their stay and Millinocket Lake is a wonderful lake to swim in or paddle on. You can enjoy volleyball, fire pits, basketball, table tennis, beautiful sauna and our picnic areas right here on the property.
