We had an enjoyable and relaxing trip with guide, Dave, leading the way. The group ventured down the famed Golden Road with high hopes of spotting a moose but it seems the moose had other plans. In addition to enjoying spectacular fall colors, the group saw deer, ducks and geese.

Our fearless guide, Glen, made a valiant effort to locate a moose–any moose–but no luck today. We were lucky in the bird department, though, as we saw an eagle, a few loons and various ducks. A good time was had by all!

On this beautiful fall day, the sun was shining and the air was warm! The pontoon boat was the right choice when it came to exploring today. We saw a loon and a few of us got a little splash from a small wave.

Perhaps the moose are vacationing in Hawaii? We saw hide nor hair of one today but we did see a few moose tracks. We had a lovely trip, none-the-less. A clear cool day, provided exquisite views of Katahdin and we saw an eagle soaring over one of the ponds.

Today we had both a morning and afternoon tour. We took the boat for a ride and not only did we see loons, but their voices echoed through the lake. We also saw eagles and a beaver as well. Everyone had a wonderful time!

Today’s temperature reached 86 degrees with not a cloud in the sky! On the Wildlife/Moose Tour we took the pontoon boat out for ride with Mount Katahdin in full view. We saw an eagle, loons, and a cormorant.

This morning we went to Sandy Stream Pond on our tour in hopes to see a moose and other wildlife. We came up short in the moose department, but we were still able to see some ducks and great views of Mount Katahdin.

The weather report called for rain, but we lucked out and the day stayed pretty clear.  This allowed today’s group to tour by both van and pontoon boat.   We saw  loons, cormorants, a king fisher and lots of blue heron.

On these two days of tours, we took the boat out on Millinocket lake and saw many different wildlife. Although there were no moose, we saw ducks, loons, beavers, and a deer.
