It was a busy day on the water with both a morning and evening wildlife tour and a sight-seeing tour in the middle. Ken started the day with a group of 12 on what was dubbed “the bloody mary cruise.” As they casually glided across the lake they saw loons and cormorants, kingfishers, a wood duck and a sharp shinned hawk. The sight-seeing group of 9 enjoyed a visit to Sandy Stream Beach for some relaxation, and the evening tour included a group of 11 with Ken at the helm. They sauntered over towards Big Mud Brook and along the journey saw loons and kingfishers, cormorants, an osprey, a sharp shinned hawk, an eagle, a wood duck, 2 cedar wax wings, some painted turtles and a beaver. And lets not forget to add the spectacular sunset that turned the sky several different shades of beautiful.
