It was seasonably chilly but calm this evening as our Maine guide, Ken and 3 guests set out for a private pontoon ride. The clouds were thick as the group left the dock however on their way to Big Mud Brook the sky began to clear and the sun shown bright. They were amazed at the beauty of the Katahdin Region with the gorgeous foliage around the lake and enjoyed the sighting of a loon, a goose, an eagle, a cormorant, a beaver and a cow moose! It was a glorious evening.
