Today we had 2 wildlife tours and they couldn’t have been more different. In the morning it was foggy and misty as our group of 6 headed out on the lake in search of some wildlife. They did see several varieties of birds including 8 loons, 2 eagles, 4 common mergansers and many other ducks. The afternoon was sunny and calm as Ken gathered his group of 8 and set out for Big Mud Brook. The views were stunning as the foliage and the great Katahdin were reflecting in the calm lake making for some amazing photo opportunities. The dozen loons that they saw only added to the beauty.
