It was a spectacular morning here at Twin Pines with a little lake fog as Matt and a group of 5 guests hopped on the boat and set sail for Big Mud Brook. The sights along the way were loons and kingfishers, Canada geese, cormorants and an eagle. Ken was the guide for the evening tour and he had a full boat of 14 guests as he headed out on Millinocket Lake. Along with the brilliant colors of fall in the Katahdin region they also saw a black duck, a common tern, loons and kingfishers, an osprey, an eagle, a great blue heron, geese, 2 beaver and 3 otter. And I can’t forget to mention the amazing sunset that turned the sky several different shades of pink.
