Scheduled Moose and Wildlife tours leave twice daily, morning and afternoon. We use either our luxury pontoon boat on Millinocket Lake or our air-conditioned van which can seat up to 14. How we travel is weather & Guide availability dependent, with your guide choosing the location where you will have the highest likelihood of viewing moose and other wildlife.

Book A Full Day Tour - Spend More Time in the Woods

Are you interested in more time in the woods with more opportunities to view and perhaps photograph wildlife? Our Full Day tour lasts around 7-hours and includes a packed lunch.  Weather & guide dependent we may travel in either our luxury pontoon boat on Millinocket Lake and/or our air-conditioned van which can seat up to 14.  Your guide will choose the location where you will have the highest likelihood of viewing moose and other wildlife. The longer tour allows us time to travel deeper into the woods or wait longer at specific locations to view more animals.

We kept Glen busy today with two tours on the lake. The guests were elated to see 3 otters, 2 beaver, a turtle, 4 bald eagles, 10 loons, along with some osprey, king-fisher and a blue heron and some ducks.

Well, it was another busy day on the lake today with a total of 25 guests on our two tours. While they weren’t able to find a moose, they did see plenty of wildlife including some turtles, loons, osprey, a blue heron and a king- fisher.

Dave took a full boat load of guests this evening to see what they could find. They saw some beaver, loons and an osprey but the best sighting of the day was a cow moose swimming in Millinocket Lake. Great job Dave!!

Today Glen took a small group on the boat for an evening tour. They had a very successful trip which included the sighting of some beaver, an osprey, 16 loons and 3 moose, 2 bulls and 1 cow!

After a bit of a dry spell, Ken set sail determined to find a moose for our boat full of guests. They spotted a variety of birds including loons, a belted kingfisher, a ring-necked duck, osprey, and a great blue heron. They saw some beaver and low and behold…a Bull Moose! Great job Ken!
