Scheduled Moose and Wildlife tours leave twice daily, morning and afternoon. We either use our luxury pontoon boat on Millinocket Lake or our air-conditioned van which can seat up to 14. How we travel is weather & Guide availability dependent, with your guide choosing the location where you will have the highest likelihood of viewing moose and other wildlife.

Book A Full Day Tour - Spend More Time in the Woods

Are you interested in more time in the woods with more opportunities to view and perhaps photograph wildlife? Our Full day tour lasts around 7-hours and includes a packed lunch.  Weather & guide dependent we  may travel in both our luxury pontoon boat on Millinocket Lake or our air-conditioned van which can seat up to 14.  Your guide will choose the location where you will have the highest likelihood of viewing moose and other wildlife. The longer tour allows us time to travel deeper into the woods or wait longer at specific locations to view more animals.

On a steamy July evening there isn’t a better place to be than cruising the lake on a pontoon boat in search of our magnificent Maine wildlife. And we hit the jackpot! Our guests saw a big bull moose, a small bull moose, 2 beaver and of course several loons. Great job Sterling!

Tonight as our guide Glen set sail for a three hour tour the guests had the opportunity to see a majestic Eagle swoop down and grab a fish from the lake and then with binoculars they were able to watch it eat the fish in a nearby tree. Quite an experience for sure!
