Maine Yoga Adventures – Eco Lodge Weekend Adventure

Join MYA on a fabulous snowy weekend tucked away in an eco lodge in the great Maine woods. Adventurers can cross-country ski, snowshoe, ride fat bikes, eat yummy vegetarian food and enjoy snowga, yoga in the snow, and much more…
We’ll get cozy in an eco-friendly three bedroom lodge at New England Outdoor Center. Adventurers will take over Bobcat Lodge, located off the cove, surrounded by beautiful tall trees with some views through the trees onto the lake. All will be comfortably set up amongst the sustainable features and finishes that are energy efficient.
Adventurers will enjoy radiant heat floors so we may get some yoga happening indoors as well as outside. The lodge has three queen beds, two single beds, two full bathrooms, a living room with fireplace, sun-room, a patio, and a well-appointed kitchen for Sarah Joughin to create vegetarian dishes with love. Dinners and breakfasts are included, lunches will be open to adventurers – we may want to check out River Driver’s Restaurant right on NEOC property! The views of Katahdin are outstanding!
Arrival time is flexible – if you want to get outside and explore the trails with your snowshoes, come early! If you want to get outside and cross-country ski or bike, come early! If you can’t slip away until later, no worries, we’ll have plenty of fun and food in the evening. And, a sauna nearby that we get to use!
If you have your own skis, snowshoes, and/or plus or fat tire bike, bring them along. If you’d like to try out cross-country skis or fat bikes, rentals are available. Holly has extra pairs of snowshoes if you’d like to borrow.
