Maine Guide, Ken took his group of seven via van to moose “hot spots” in the area (known only to Maine Guides and moose, of course)! It was an overcast and chilly evening but the sun did peak thru occasionally to light up the fall colors. The group scanned the woods in hopes of seeing the famed Maine beast and eventually their persistence paid off as they were rewarded with a MOOSE sighting! He was a young bull with only two tines on each antler! Canada (Grey) Jays flitted past the van as the satisfied group made their way back to NEOC–mission accomplished!
