On this brisk October afternoon, Madi and 2 guests drove out to Standy Stream Pond. On the way there they encountered quite a few “pesky squirrels” as Madi put it, they wouldn’t move out of the way! At Sandy Stream pond the group encountered 3 mergansers splashing about, and the snow capped Mount Katahdin.
