Although it was not a very sunny day and Mt Katahdin was hiding in the thick clouds, our group of 4 from the South were determined to go out on the lake to enjoy the sights. Sterling took them across to Mud Brook in hopes of seeing some wildlife. They were delighted when the skies cleared and they were able to see the awesome presence of the great Katahdin in all it’s glory. They also saw an eagle, great blue heron and several loons.
