With a busy weekend ahead, our Maine guide, Matt and 7 guests set out across Millinocket Lake to find some wildlife. They came upon some very intriguing sights including terns and kingfishers, an eagle, a hawk with a mouse in it’s claws, a painted turtle, a snapping turtle and a doe. (See photo below) In the evening, with Matt again at the wheel with a group of 5 on the pontoon boat there was a haze in the air from the wildfires. They were pleased to see loons and mallards, an eagle, an owl and a beaver.
