We sure have had a gorgeous stretch of weather here in the Katahdin Region and we have been thoroughly enjoying it! Today was no exception as our Maine guide, Matt pulled double duty with both the morning and the evening wildlife tours. In the morning, Matt and a group of 10 ladies went out on the lake for a leisurely ride in the pontoon boat. As they crossed the lake they were pleased to see several kingfishers, nesting loons, an eagle and a common tern. For the evening tour there was a family of 4 joining Matt on the boat. Big Mud was the destination and along the way they saw loons and kingfishers, terns and some beaver.
