It was a busy Friday here at Twin Pines and our Maine guide, Matt had a total of 27 people on 3 different tours. To start the day with a group of 5 on the pontoon boat, Matt drove towards Big Mud Brook and the group was delighted by the sight of loons and golden eye ducks, a doe and a cow moose. In the afternoon, Matt had a sightseeing tour with 10 guests who enjoyed the beauty of Millinocket Lake with Katahdin looking down upon them. For the evening tour Matt had a full boat of 12 guests looking to see some wildlife. As they strolled across the lake they were pleased to see terns and mergansers, 2 bald eagles, ringed neck ducks, a beaver, 3 snapping turtles and a cow with a calf.
