Summer is trying to hang on here in the Katahdin Region and it was another gorgeous day with 2 wildlife tours on the books. In the morning we had Matt and 2 guests aboard the Ktaadn Resorts pontoon boat. As they set across the lake they were able to see loons and kingfishers, cormorants, a great blue heron and an eagle. On our evening tour, Paul was our guide and he had a full boat of 12. They made their way across the lake to Big Mud Brook where they saw loons and mallards, a belted kingfisher, a great blue heron and beavers not to mention a spectacular sky at sunset.
