It was such a lovely day here in the Katahdin Region and we were excited to be able to get out on the lake for both tours. In the morning Matt and 2 guests set sail for Big Mud Brook and were impressed at the sight of loons dancing, a mink that was swimming with the loons, an osprey, an eagle and a snapping turtle that bumped the boat. On the evening tour, with a full boat of 12, Matt was once again behind the wheel on the NEOC pontoon boat. The group was excited to see mergansers, kingfishers, an osprey, beavers, both painted and snapping turtles and a small bull moose!
