On this solemn day of remembrance we had both an afternoon sightseeing tour and an evening wildlife tour. At noon, our guide, Paul and 7 guests hopped on board the NEOC pontoon boat and set off across the lake to see what they could see. Along the ride they were able to see cormorants and kingfishers, black ducks, 2 bald eagles and some otters. For the evening tour we had Matt at the wheel and 2 guests in tow. On the journey towards Big Mud Brook they encountered mallards and cormorants, ospreys and eagles, a hawk, painted turtles and 3 deer.
