Snowmobiling at NEOC
Take to the trails
adventure begins here
Enthusiasts travel thousands of miles to experience the renowned snowmobile trails found right here in the Katahdin Region. At NEOC, we offer the largest snowmobile rental fleet in the State of Maine—exclusively featuring Ski-Doo snowmobiles, ranging from touring to high-performance. Our fully licensed, insured operation maintains every sled meticulously on-site, and we continually update our fleet with new machines.
BOOK A SNOWMOBILE
Full day, multi-day, and half day rental options are available.
Located alongside the ITS85/86 snowmobile trail, you can take off right from your cabin door—whether you choose a 3-hour guided tour, or prefer to explore the Maine woods on your own. To ensure your comfort, we offer a full line of comfortable and warm rental clothing. For your safety, a helmet is included with every sled rental and is required to be worn at all times.
GUIDED SNOWMOBILE TOURS
Morning Tours begin at 9 AM | Afternoon Tours begin at 1 PM
Why Book a Guided Tour?
On staff, we have several Registered Maine Guides that will be with you on your guided trips, and they help take the guesswork out of your
day. A day in the Katahdin Region in Wintertime is exhilarating and breathtaking but you need to be well prepared as it is a wilderness
area. Snowmobiles are recreational vehicles and are used in climate conditions that are often extreme. The open air and speed of the
snowmobile can be exhilarating, but they also can be dangerous.
Our famous snowmobile tours are perfect for the novice rider or anyone who is looking to explore new scenery.
Know before you go
Here at NEOC, safety is our highest priority. While we instruct you on basic knowledge for the responsible use of a snowmobile, we expect you to do your part as well.
