TASTING ROOM ASSOCIATE

The Tasting Room Associate position at Knife Edge Brewing is a fun position and perfect for you if you enjoy working with a team of people and providing customer service. This job involves taking orders for customers into our POS System, preparing orders, and cashing guests out, as well as pizza making and prepping. Table service and overall assisting customers or your teammates as needed. A clean workspace is a must, and everyone works together at the end of the night to clean up!

Customer service and POS experience are helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidates! Positive attitude, great work ethic, and willingness to be busy.

Requirements:
Strong communication skills, friendly and outgoing personality, patience, works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, good time management skills, organized, clean/tidy, and ability to stand on feet during entire shift. 

EVENT CHEF

NEOC is seeking a skilled and creative Event Chef to lead culinary operations for weddings, corporate retreats, and special events at our Event Center with gorgeous views of Katahdin and Millinocket Lake. The role is perfect for a chef who enjoys designing memorable food experiences while working in one of Maine’s most iconic outdoor destinations. The Event Chef is responsible for planning menus, leading event kitchen operations, and ensuring every guest enjoys exceptional food and hospitality. 

– Plan, prepare, and execute menus for weddings, functions, and special occasions.

– Lead kitchen operations during events, ensuring food quality, consistency, and timely service. 

– Collaborate with the events team to design menus that match each event style.

– Manage event prep, including ordering, inventory, food cost control, and kitchen organization.

– Maintain high standards for food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness. 

DISHWASHER

We are currently hiring for a Dishwasher at our River Drivers Restaurant! Candidates must be able to communicate well and multitask, be clean, and follow service industry cleaning guidelines. Applicants should be able to lift 50+ lbs, be self-motivated, and bring a high energy level, as well as be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule with evenings and weekends a must. Willing to train the right candidates! 


FRONT DESK AGENT

Join our Office Staff this upcoming season, and help welcome guests to the heart of the Katahdin Region! As a Front Desk Agent, you’ll be the friendly face greeting visitors, assisting with reservations, checking guests into their cabins, and helping guests plan their adventures here at NEOC.

HOUSEKEEPING

This upcoming season, we are looking for housekeepers to join our cleaning team!

Housekeeper Requirements: Able to manage time efficiently and productively, work well unsupervised, must be able to lift 25+ lbs, and handle basic maintenance and cleaning.

Housekeeper Responsibilities: Keep facilities and common areas clean and maintained, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors, clean and stock restrooms and kitchens, change beds, notify maintenance of any issues, and assist guests when necessary.

LINE COOK

We’re looking for a motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. Prior experience in a full-service restaurant is preferred, but we’re happy to train the right person who brings a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, stocking kitchen stations, and cooking menu items to restaurant specifications. Applicants should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and committed to maintaining high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and kitchen organization.

Candidates must follow current food service guidelines for personal hygiene, food preparation and storage, and kitchen sanitation. Availability for nights and weekends is required.
