Led by our expert guides, Scenic Wildlife Tours offer an unforgettable chance to spot Maine’s native wildlife in their natural habitat, all while taking in stunning mountain views, pristine waterways, and endless forests. Whether you’re a photographer, nature lover, or simply curious, this is your front-row seat to the wild.
Tours travel by either our luxury pontoon boat on Millinocket Lake or our air-conditioned van, depending on the weather. Our guides select the location of each excursion to maximize your chances of spotting moose and other wildlife.

Wildlife Tours via Kayak
Our Guided Wildlife Kayak Tours offer a rare opportunity to explore some of the most scenic and remote waters in the Katahdin Region, places few ever get to experience. Each trip lasts approximately five hours and includes a kayak, paddle, PFD, and a Registered Maine Guide, along with transportation to and from the launch location.
Offered exclusively from late May through the end of June, these early-season outings are timed perfectly for wildlife activity, giving you a quiet, immersive way to experience Maine’s North Woods at its most alive.
Participants must be 16+ and have prior basic kayaking experience.

Private Sight-Seeing Tour
Our Private Sightseeing Tours offer a personalized way to experience the beauty of the Katahdin Region, designed exclusively for your group of up to 12 guests. Spend up to three hours exploring Millinocket Lake by luxury pontoon boat or traveling by air-conditioned van, with your Registered Maine Guide tailoring the route to your interests and the day’s best wildlife viewing opportunities.
Cruise the lake’s long, winding channels in search of moose and waterfowl, visit the iconic Sandy Stream Beach, and take in a five-star view of Maine’s tallest mountain along the way. Whether you’re looking for wildlife, scenery, or simply a relaxed outing together, this private experience allows you to explore at your own pace in one of Maine’s most unforgettable landscapes.
