On this glorious fall day our guide Ken took his guests by van not only to search for moose but also to see the beautiful fall foliage. They enjoyed the beauty of Katahdin shrouded in a thin layer of clouds. A ruffed grouse cock graced them with it’s full display in hopes of catching the attention of any nearby hens, and they also saw 3 common golden eye ducks. Although they didn’t see any moose, they were able to pick a few cranberries so all in all we would call that a successful tour.
