Our Maine guide, Dave was out on Millinocket Lake bright and early this morning searching for moose with a group of eager guests. It was a serene morning, perfect for sight seeing and just being relaxing. The wildlife was not especially plentiful however they were blessed with the sighting of some loons, a turtle and a cow moose with her calf. Nice work Dave!! For the evening tour, Ken was the guide and they once again went on the lake headed for Big Mud Brook. Along their journey they encountered an osprey, loons, both a snapping turtle and a painted turtle, 2 beaver and a Maine snaketail. Although they didn’t see a moose, they had perfect weather for a boat ride with Katahdin standing proud in the back ground.
